Material Planning Considerations
The Parish Council has been asked which matters are taken into consideration by the decision makers on planning applications. For most applications the decision maker is the District Council but, for a few things including the exploration for, or extraction of, oil or gas, the decision maker is the County Council.

In all cases the issues that may be relevant to the decision (Material Planning Considerations) and the issues that are not relevant (Non-Material Planning Considerations) are the same. Both are summarised on the attached sheet produced by Planning Aid England, (please click on the link above).
