NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
In September 2016 residents voted overwhelmingly in favour of using the Neighbourhood Plan to shape our village future, with 376 voting ‘Yes’ and 24 voting ‘No.’ In Balcombe the turnout was 26.9%. The final stage of the process was when Mid Sussex District Council formally ‘made’ the Balcombe Neighbourhood Plan at their Council meeting on 21 September 2016. It has now become part of the Council’s development plans and will help to shape future development.
