As previously reported on this website, on 1^st August the Parish Council’s Oil Exploration Working Group met with the representatives of the Environment Agency.  These representatives included a Radioactive Substances Regulations Technical Specialist.

In consequence the Parish Council has concluded that it has no local knowledge or new information relevant the determination of Cuadrilla’s application for a permit under the Radioactive Substances Regulations and it will respond accordingly under the public consultation which ends on 13^th August.
